The Quiz Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted an Electoral Day Quiz on 25th January 2025 at 12:45 PM to commemorate National Voters’ Day, observed annually to encourage informed and responsible participation in the electoral process.
The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a short introduction on the significance of National Voters’ Day and the importance of electoral literacy in strengthening democracy. Students were motivated to understand the rights and responsibilities of voters and the functioning of the Indian electoral system.

The participants showcased impressive knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork throughout the competition. The interactive format created an engaging and lively atmosphere, promoting awareness about the importance of informed voting.
Quiz coordinators ensured smooth conduct of the event with transparent scoring and clear instructions. Audience members also participated actively by answering bonus questions and supporting the teams.
After an intense final round, the winning team was announced and appreciated for their outstanding performance. All participants received acknowledgement for their enthusiasm and commitment to learning about electoral processes.
The programme concluded with a message encouraging students to become informed, responsible, and active voters, contributing positively to democratic governance.
The Electoral Day Quiz was an enriching and impactful initiative, showcasing the Quiz Club’s dedication to promoting electoral awareness, civic responsibility, and knowledge-based participation among students.
