The Reading Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Book Discussion on 20th January 2025 at 10:30 AM with the objective of promoting reading habits, critical thinking, and collaborative learning among students. The programme aimed to provide a platform for students to share their interpretations, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful literary dialogue.

The session began with a brief introduction highlighting the value of reading in expanding knowledge, enhancing imagination, and developing communication skills. Students gathered to discuss the selected book, exploring its themes, characters, writing style, and relevance to contemporary life. Each participant contributed unique perspectives, enriching the conversation and fostering a deeper understanding of the text.

During the discussion, students analyzed the author’s message, narrative techniques, and emotional depth of the storyline. They reflected on how the book related to real-life situations, personal experiences, and societal issues.
