The Eco Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted an Eco Republic Parade on 27th January 2025 at 11:30 AM as part of its environmentally themed Republic Day initiatives. The programme aimed to integrate patriotic spirit with ecological awareness, encouraging students to reflect on their responsibility toward both the nation and the environment.
The event began with an introduction highlighting the importance of sustainable citizenship in national development. Participants were encouraged to uphold the values of environmental protection while celebrating the country’s democratic ideals.
Students actively participated in the parade by carrying eco-themed banners, placards, and models representing issues such as:
