PPT MAKING WORKSHOP

The IT Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Workshop on PPT Making on 16 January 2025 at 9:00 AM with the objective of enhancing students’ digital presentation skills. The session was organised to familiarise learners with the essential tools and techniques required to create effective and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.

The programme began with a brief introduction by the IT Club coordinator, who highlighted the importance of multimedia presentations in modern teaching and professional communication. The resource person demonstrated the basics of PowerPoint, including slide design, layout selection, use of themes, insertion of images and charts, and the application of transitions and animations. Participants were also guided on best practices for preparing content, maintaining clarity, and ensuring aesthetic balance.

A hands-on session allowed students to practise creating slides under guidance. They actively engaged in trying different layouts, experimenting with visual elements, and applying the techniques explained. The interactive approach helped them gain confidence in designing educational and professional presentations.

The workshop concluded with a short feedback session, during which participants expressed that the training was highly useful and relevant to their academic activities. The IT Club thanked all attendees for their enthusiastic participation.

Overall, the PPT Making Workshop was informative, skill-enhancing, and successful in achieving its objectives of promoting digital competence among students.
