10-DAY ZUMBA CHALLENGE COMPETITION

The Zumba Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a 10-Day Zumba Challenge Competition, commencing on 9th January 2025 at 9:30 AM. This programme was organized with the aim of encouraging students to build consistency in fitness, enhance stamina, and engage in a fun, motivating physical activity routine.

The challenge was designed as a ten-day continuous fitness programme in which participants performed guided Zumba sessions every day. The event began with an orientation on the benefits of Zumba, the rules of the challenge, and safety guidelines to ensure smooth participation.

Throughout the ten days, students actively took part in the rhythmic and energetic Zumba routines led by the instructor. Each session featured a combination of warm-up exercises, cardio movements, dance steps, and cool-down stretches. Participants displayed great enthusiasm, dedication, and improvement in their performance as the challenge progressed.

The competition aspect encouraged students to stay committed, track their daily participation, and maintain high energy levels. The overall atmosphere remained lively and supportive, helping students build confidence and develop healthy workout habits.

At the end of the 10-day period, participants were evaluated based on consistency, effort, coordination, and performance. The programme concluded with the announcement of winners and appreciation for all who completed the challenge. Certificates were distributed to acknowledge participation and achievement.
