Drawing Competition Conducted by the Transgender Club
The Transgender Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Drawing Competition on 6 January 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the college campus.
The programme aimed to promote creativity, awareness, and sensitivity toward transgender identity and gender inclusivity through artistic expression. Students were encouraged to portray themes such as equality, acceptance, dignity, and human rights through their drawings, allowing them to engage deeply with social issues in a creative manner.
Participants enthusiastically took part in the event, presenting drawings that reflected thoughtful messages and meaningful interpretations of transgender experiences and gender diversity. The competition provided a platform for students to express empathy and support through visual art.
The event received active participation and created a positive and reflective atmosphere on campus. The entries were assessed based on creativity, relevance to the theme, artistic presentation, and clarity of message.
The programme concluded successfully, reinforcing the Transgender Club’s commitment to promoting inclusivity, awareness, and student engagement through various artistic and educational activities.
