The objective of the programme was to create awareness among school students about the importance of libraries in academic growth and to enhance the organization and utility of the existing library facilities. The activity involved students from classes 9 to Plus Two, who participated in arranging books systematically, labeling sections, cleaning and decorating the reading space, and preparing charts on “Effective Library Use.” The session also included discussions on reading habits, reference skills, and the role of libraries in developing lifelong learners.

The students actively engaged in all tasks with enthusiasm and teamwork, showing a strong sense of responsibility and respect towards their learning environment. The initiative helped improve the library’s appearance, accessibility, and usefulness for students and teachers alike. The programme successfully instilled the message that a well-maintained library is the heart of a good educational institution.
