A Training Session on ICT Integration in Education was organized by Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with GHSS Kallachi, on 17th October 2025 at 3:30 p.m. The session was held in the Computer Lab of GHSS Kallachi, which provided an ideal setting for hands-on digital learning.
The session aimed to promote ICT skill development among students and demonstrate effective ways to integrate technology into classroom teaching. The resource person, Ms. Vismaya P K, a 2nd-year B.Ed. English student, conducted the session with great enthusiasm and clarity.
The Computer Lab was well-equipped with internet facilities, computers, and multimedia tools that enabled participants to explore various ICT applications practically. Students were guided to use educational software, presentation tools, and online resources to make teaching more interactive and learner-centered.
The participants actively engaged in demonstrations, practiced using different tools, and shared their reflections on how ICT could transform traditional classrooms. The lab environment helped them gain real-time experience and confidence in using technology effectively.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Sujithra (HM, GHSS Kallachi). The session concluded with positive feedback, highlighting the usefulness of the computer lab in enhancing digital competency among students.
