 WORLD CEREBRAL PALSY DAY

October 6, 2024, Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education observed World Cerebral Palsy Day, a global event aimed at raising awareness about cerebral palsy (CP) and advocating for the rights and inclusion of individuals with CP. The event brought together students and faculty to learn about the challenges faced by individuals with cerebral palsy and how society can support and create a more inclusive environment for them.

The main objective of this event was to increase awareness about cerebral palsy and educate students on the importance of inclusivity and empathy. The program aimed to inspire future educators to better understand and support the unique needs of individuals with CP in their communities and classrooms.
