The Green Protocol Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Campus Beautification Programme on 2nd October 2024 at 10:00 AM as part of its ongoing initiatives to promote environmental responsibility and maintain a clean, green campus environment. The event also aligned with the principles of Gandhi Jayanti, emphasizing cleanliness, discipline, and community participation.
The programme began with an introductory session highlighting the importance of campus cleanliness, sustainability, and collective responsibility in creating a healthy learning atmosphere. Students were encouraged to actively participate and contribute to keeping their surroundings beautiful and eco-friendly.
1. Cleaning and Waste Management Activities
Students and faculty volunteers worked together to carry out various beautification tasks, including:

Removing litter from classrooms and the campus grounds

Segregating collected waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories
