INTER-GROUP ZUMBA COMPETITION

The Dance Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted an Inter-Group Zumba Competition on 18th October 2024 at 3:30 PM with the objective of promoting teamwork, fitness enthusiasm, and healthy competition among students.
The programme began with a welcome address by the ZUMBA Club coordinators, followed by a brief introduction to the rules and judging criteria. Different student groups participated with great excitement, presenting their choreographed Zumba routines that highlighted creativity, synchronization, energy, and musical rhythm.
Each group showcased unique performances, combining lively steps, coordinated formations, and vibrant expressions. The competition hall was filled with enthusiasm as the audience cheered for their respective groups, adding to the spirited atmosphere.
The judging panel evaluated the performances based on criteria such as choreography, coordination, energy level, rhythm accuracy, innovation, and overall presentation. The competition encouraged students to work collaboratively and express their passion for dance and fitness.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners, followed by words of appreciation for all participating groups. Students expressed their enjoyment and highlighted how the activity strengthened teamwork and boosted their confidence.
The Inter-Group Zumba Competition was a successful and energetic event, reinforcing the ZUMBA Club’s commitment to promoting physical well-being, talent development, and a vibrant campus culture.
