Mole day celebrated annually on October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m., Mole Day commemorates "Avogadro's Number.". This number called a Mole is a basic measuring unit in chemistry. Mole Day typically falls during National Chemistry Week. Celebrating Mole Day is not only a way to recognise this significant concept but also a unique opportunity to start learning about the fun side of chemistry. For 2024, the theme is "EncantMole", adding a creative twist to the festivities. Previous themes like "The Mole the Merrier" and "Molar Odyssey" have also inspired engaging mole related events and projects.
Mole Day 2024 was conducted by the physical science department, led by Abhinraj.P.P. As part of the celebration, Abhinraj conducted a Quiz competition based on Mole Day in the assembly. Through this quiz students attain some knowledge about history and significance of Mole Day and mole concept. Students were participated very energetically.
