Film Screening Conducted by the Transgender Club
The Transgender Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Film Screening on 18 October 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the college campus.
The programme aimed to promote awareness, empathy, and understanding of transgender identities through visual media. The selected film highlighted themes related to gender identity, acceptance, dignity, human rights, and the lived experiences of the transgender community.
Students watched the film with great interest and engaged deeply with the narrative. The screening provided an opportunity to reflect on social issues, challenge stereotypes, and broaden perspectives. Following the screening, a short discussion was held, allowing participants to share their thoughts, clarify doubts, and express their insights on the themes portrayed.
