The Physical Education Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Women’s Penalty Kick Contest on 7th October 2024 at 3:00 PM with the objective of promoting women’s participation in sports, enhancing football skills, and encouraging competitive spirit among students.
The event began with a welcome address followed by a briefing on the rules, scoring criteria, and safety instructions. Participants displayed great enthusiasm and readiness to showcase their skills on the field.
The contest involved each participant taking a series of penalty kicks, which were evaluated based on:

The atmosphere was lively as participants competed with focus and determination while fellow students cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines. The event highlighted the growing interest and talent of women in sports activities.
Physical Education coordinators supervised the contest to ensure fair play and smooth execution of the event. The goalkeepers also showcased commendable effort in defending the shots, adding excitement to the competition.
After an engaging round of performances, the top scorers were announced and appreciated for their outstanding skills. All participants were encouraged for their active involvement and sportsmanship.
