National Chemistry Week Celebration

The Chemistry Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, celebrated National Chemistry Week on 19 October 2024 at 11:00 AM in the college campus.

The programme began with a formal gathering, where the invited guest delivered an insightful and inspiring speech on the significance of chemistry in everyday life. The speaker highlighted the importance of chemical awareness in modern society and emphasized how chemistry contributes to advancements in science, technology, health, and environmental protection. The address encouraged student-teachers to recognize the relevance of chemistry in classroom teaching and in shaping scientific thinking among school students.

The guest also motivated participants to develop curiosity, analytical skills, and a scientific approach, stressing the role of teachers in nurturing future learners. The speech was well-received and helped broaden the participants’ understanding of chemistry as a dynamic and essential discipline.
