The Quiz Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Gandhi Jayanti Quiz on 2nd October 2024 at 11:00 AM in honor of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of Gandhian principles, India’s freedom struggle, and the values of peace, non-violence, and truth.
The programme began with a welcome address and a brief introduction to the significance of Gandhi Jayanti. Students were encouraged to learn about Gandhiji’s life and philosophy, which continue to inspire individuals around the world.

The Quiz Club coordinators ensured the smooth conduct of the event by maintaining fair scoring and clear rules. Audience members also enjoyed participating in open-ended questions between rounds.
At the end of the competition, the winning team was announced and appreciated for their commendable performance. All participants were acknowledged for their interest and enthusiasm.
The programme concluded with a message highlighting the relevance of Gandhian values in today’s world and encouraging students to adopt principles of truth, peace, and non-violence in their daily lives.
