The Biological Science Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Quiz Competition on 7th October 2024 at 10:30 AM with the aim of enhancing scientific knowledge, promoting healthy academic competition, and encouraging students to develop interest in biological sciences. The event provided an engaging platform for students to test their understanding of biological concepts and to strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills.
The programme began with a brief introduction to the rules and structure of the quiz. Students were divided into teams, and the competition included multiple rounds such as general biology, human physiology, plant science, ecology, scientific discoveries, and rapid-fire questions. Each round was designed to challenge students’ comprehension, recall ability, and application of scientific principles.
Participants actively engaged in the competition, demonstrating teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm. The quiz created a lively atmosphere as teams competed closely, answering questions and earning points. The audience also showed keen interest and supported the participants throughout the event.
The judging panel ensured fair evaluation, maintaining transparency in scoring and providing constructive feedback. The event highlighted the students’ preparedness and their growing interest in the field of biological sciences.
At the end of the competition, the winning team was announced and appreciated for their outstanding performance. All participants were acknowledged for their active involvement and effort. The quiz helped students deepen their scientific understanding, improve their critical thinking abilities, and build a spirit of collaboration.
The programme concluded with a note of appreciation from the coordinators, who encouraged students to continue exploring scientific knowledge and participating in academic enrichment activities.
