THE SCIENCE FAIR – STILL MODEL EVENT
The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in collaboration with MUMVHSS Vadakara, organised a Science Fair as part of its IQAC initiatives to promote scientific learning and creativity among school students. One of the key events conducted during the fair was the Still Model presentation.
The Still Model session was coordinated by Arathi M, a second-year student of MCCTE. Her role as coordinator contributed to the smooth management and effective execution of the event. The involvement of teacher trainees in organising such programmes helps them gain practical experience in leadership and academic coordination.
The Science Fair was held on 17 October at 2:00 pm at MUMVHSS Vadakara. The event featured a variety of still models prepared by students, showcasing scientific concepts, innovations, environmental themes, and creative ideas. The exhibition provided a platform for students to present their work confidently and engage in meaningful scientific discussions.
The programme was guided and supervised by:
-
General Coordinator: Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE)
-
IQAC Coordinator: Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE)
-
Programme Coordinator: Farook (Teacher, MUMVHSS, Vadakara)
Their coordinated efforts ensured the effective organisation of the event, fostering a collaborative learning environment between the teacher education college and the school.
The Science Fair successfully achieved its goal of encouraging scientific inquiry, nurturing creativity, and providing a productive learning experience for participating students and teacher trainees.
