An interactive session on “Teaching about Local History and Landmarks” was conducted on 22nd October 2025 (Wednesday) under the auspices of the MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with GVHSS Madappally.
The session was handled by Ms. Rithula, who served as the resource person. She discussed innovative strategies for teaching local history and familiarizing students with the cultural and historical significance of nearby landmarks. The session emphasized the importance of experiential learning, field visits, and integrating local heritage into classroom teaching to foster a deeper understanding among learners.
The programme was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as General Coordinator, Ms. Revathi M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE) as IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Khalid (Principal, GVHSS Madappally) as Programme Coordinator
