REVIVE THE READ-LIBRARY IMPROVEMENT

 “Revive the Read: Library Improvement”

The MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) in association with KGGHS Palloor organized a programme titled “Revive the Read: Library Improvement” on 11th October 2025 at KGGHS Palloor. The event took place from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM as part of the college’s IQAC initiative.

The main objective of the programme was to promote reading habits among students and to enhance the library facilities of the school. It aimed at encouraging students to make effective use of the library and understand the importance of reading for personal and academic growth.

The programme was conducted by Ananya Prakash and Krishna P, both 2nd-year B.Ed students of MCCTE. Their active involvement and enthusiasm made the session lively and engaging.

The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K, Principal of MCCTE, and Ms. Revathy M, Assistant Professor and IQAC Coordinator of MCCTE. Ms. Lizzy Fernandes, Headmistress of KGGHS, served as the Programme Coordinator and provided valuable support in organizing the event.

The programme concluded successfully, leaving a positive impact on the students and motivating them to make better use of their school library. It also strengthened the collaborative relationship between MCCTE and KGGHS Palloor, showcasing the significance of academic partnerships in promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
