The Department of English at Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, in association with GHSS Kallachi, organized a Remedial Teaching Session on Tuesday, October 2025, at 2:00 PM. The session aimed to enhance students’ learning outcomes by providing focused support in English language skills.
The session was effectively handled by Ms. Vismaya P K, a 2nd year B.Ed. English trainee, who served as the Resource Person. Through interactive activities and learner-centred strategies, she addressed common learning difficulties in English and guided students in improving their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension skills.
The event was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as the General Coordinator, Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE) as the IQAC Coordinator, and Ms. Sujithra (HM, GHSS Kallachi) as the Programme Coordinator.
The session received positive feedback from students and teachers alike. Participants appreciated the engaging methods and practical approach used by the resource person. Overall, the programme was a great success in promoting effective remedial practices in English teaching and learning.
