An awareness session on First Aid was conducted by Nadha, a second-year student of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, at RGMHSS, Mokeri on 15th October 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
The session aimed to make students aware of the importance of first aid and to equip them with basic knowledge and skills to handle minor injuries and emergencies effectively. It also intended to develop a sense of responsibility among students to act calmly and help others in times of need.
During the session, the teacher explained the meaning, objectives, and significance of first aid. Demonstrations were given on treating cuts, burns, fainting, and nosebleeds using simple and safe methods. Students actively participated by asking questions and sharing their own experiences related to first aid.
The session was informative and engaging, helping students gain practical awareness about handling emergencies confidently and responsibly.
