The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), in association with GVHSS Koduvally, organized an awareness programme on “Energy Conservation”. The event took place on 21st October 2025 at 1:45 p.m. at GVHSS Koduvally.
The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of conserving energy and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. Ms. Anjana Das, a 2nd year B.Ed student of MCCTE MAHE, served as the resource person. She delivered an informative and engaging session, highlighting various methods of energy saving and the need for responsible energy usage to protect the environment.
The programme was effectively coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K., Principal of MCCTE, who served as the General Co-ordinator. Ms. Revathy M., Assistant Professor at MCCTE, acted as the IQAC Co-ordinator, and Ms. Bijisha, Teacher at GVHSS Koduvally, served as the Programme Co-ordinator.
The session received positive feedback from the participants, who expressed that it inspired them to take small but meaningful steps toward energy conservation. The event successfully met its objective of spreading awareness about sustainable energy practices among students and teachers
