Report on Awareness Class on Menstrual Hygiene
An awareness class on Menstrual Hygiene was organized by MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) under the IQAC in association with GVHSS Koduvally. The session was conducted on 21st October 2025 at 1:53 p.m.
The class was specially arranged for 7th standard girls with the objective of creating awareness about menstrual hygiene, its importance, and the healthy practices to be followed during menstruation. The session aimed to help students overcome misconceptions and develop a positive attitude towards menstruation.
The resource person for the session was Anusree K K, a second-year Mathematics student of MCCTE. She explained the topic effectively, making the students comfortable to understand and discuss the subject openly.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as the General Co-ordinator, Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE) as the IQAC Co-ordinator, and Ms. Bijisha (Teacher, GVHSS Koduvally) as the Programme Co-ordinator.
The session concluded with a brief interaction where students shared their thoughts and cleared their doubts. Overall, the awareness class was informative and beneficial, helping the students understand the importance of maintaining menstrual hygiene and developing healthy habits.
