YOGA CLASS

 The IQAC of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in collaboration with Govt. Middle School, Mahe, organized a Yoga Class on  22 October 2025 as part of its wellness and holistic education initiatives. The session, titled “Flow into Stillness,” aimed to promote physical well-being, mental calmness, and mindfulness among the students.

The session was conducted by Ms. Anjana OK,, a Second Year B.Ed. student of MCCTE, who served as the resource person. She introduced participants to basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques that can be easily incorporated into daily routines.

Through her engaging and interactive approach, Ms.  Anjana emphasized the importance of yoga in maintaining balance between body and mind. The students actively participated and showed great enthusiasm in learning various asanas and relaxation practices.

The event concluded with a feedback session, where students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn yoga. The initiative proved to be highly beneficial in encouraging healthy living habits and enhancing concentration and self-awareness among students.

Overall, the Yoga Class was a successful and refreshing event that fostered physical fitness, mental peace, and holistic well-being.
