An awareness session on Safety Measures and First Aid for Electric Shock was conducted by Nadha and Nisni, second-year students of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, at RGMHSS, Mokeri on 22nd October 2025 at 11:30 a.m.
The session aimed to make students aware of the causes, risks, and preventive measures related to electric shock. It also sought to equip them with the basic knowledge of first aid procedures to be followed during electrical emergencies.
During the session, both teachers explained the importance of safety while handling electrical devices and demonstrated immediate first aid steps such as switching off the power source, keeping a safe distance, and seeking medical help. Students showed great interest and actively participated by sharing their thoughts and questions.
The session was informative and engaging, helping students understand the importance of electrical safety and empowering them to act responsibly and confidently in emergency situations.
