 📚 Report on Professional Development Programme: "Remedial Teaching"

A specialized awareness and training programme on "Strategies and Techniques in Remedial Teaching" was successfully organized at GHSS Kallachi on 17th October 2025 at 03:00 p.m. This professional development initiative was jointly coordinated by the IQAC of the MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, MAHE, in association with GHSS Kallachi. The programme aimed to equip teachers and aspiring educators with effective methods to support students struggling with foundational learning concepts.


The Resource Person for this crucial session was the highly competent Ms. Gopika G, a second-year B.Ed. student from MCCTE, MAHE.


The session was a resounding success, largely due to Ms. Gopika G's deep theoretical knowledge and practical approach to the subject. She meticulously explained the process of identifying learning gaps and demonstrated practical, student-centric strategies for individualized instruction and differentiated learning. Her clear, empathetic presentation style and well-researched content provided immediate, actionable insights, making the complex topic of remedial teaching accessible and engaging for all participants. Ms. Gopika G's expertise was a highlight, significantly contributing to the programme's high praise.
