The programme aimed to create awareness about mental well-being, reduce stigma related to psychological issues, and encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of emotional and mental health challenges.
The event began with a brief introduction about the significance of World Mental Health Day and the role of media in shaping awareness and attitudes toward mental health. Students and faculty gathered to view a thoughtfully selected film that highlighted themes such as emotional resilience, stress, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and the importance of seeking support. The film provided meaningful insights into real-life psychological struggles and emphasized empathy and understanding.
Throughout the screening, students were encouraged to observe the portrayal of mental health issues and reflect on the lessons conveyed. After the film, an interactive discussion was conducted where students shared their thoughts, interpretations, and emotional responses. Faculty members guided the discussion, helping students connect the film’s content with psychological concepts and real-life implications.

The programme reinforced the message that seeking help, understanding others, and maintaining emotional balance are essential for personal growth and healthy living.
The event concluded with a message from the coordinators, who emphasized the value of empathy, self-care, and supportive peer interactions.
