A Demonstration and Awareness Session on “Managing Screen Time” was organized by the IQAC of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) in association with GVHSS Koduvally on 14th October 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between screen use and real-life activities. The program highlighted the physical, mental, and social impacts of excessive screen time and provided practical strategies to manage digital habits effectively.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Fazna Afthab, 2nd-year B.Ed student, MCCTE, who demonstrated engaging techniques and shared valuable insights on digital well-being. The session also emphasized the quote —
“Control the screen before it controls you.”
The program was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE), Ms. Revathy M (Assistant Professor, MCCTE), and Ms. Shajitha (Teacher, GVHSS Koduvally).
The event successfully motivated students to adopt mindful screen practices and encouraged them to focus on real-world learning and interaction.
