First Aid Awareness Programme
A First Aid Awareness Programme was organized by MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE) in association with Sanskrit HSS on 17 October 2025 at 1:00pm. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of first aid and to equip them with basic life-saving skills to handle emergency situations effectively.
The resource person for the session was Athira C.V, a second-year B.Ed. student of MCTE. She delivered an engaging and informative session, explaining the significance of first aid in daily life and demonstrating practical methods to manage common injuries such as burns, cuts, sprains, and fainting. She also emphasized the importance of staying calm during emergencies and the need for immediate and correct response before medical help arrives.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating, sharing their experiences, and clarifying their doubts. The resource person encouraged students to be responsible and confident first responders in any crisis situation.
The programme was well-coordinated by Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCTE), Ms. Revathy M (IQAC Co-ordinator, MCTE), and Mr. Sudheesh Babu (Principal, Sanskrit HSS).
