ART COMPETITION
CONDUCTED BY THE ARTS CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Arts Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized an Art Competition on 18 February 2025 at 10:20 AM in the college campus. The programme aimed to encourage creativity, artistic expression, and aesthetic appreciation among the student teachers.
The event began with a brief introduction by the club coordinators, who highlighted the importance of art in enhancing imagination and visual communication skills. Participants were given themes and guidelines for the competition, allowing them to express their ideas through various mediums such as pencil sketching, watercolours, poster making, and mixed media art.
Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing unique concepts, intricate detailing, and diverse artistic styles. The competition provided a platform for them to explore their creativity freely while improving their technical and presentation skills.
The submitted artworks were evaluated based on creativity, originality, clarity of theme, technique, and overall visual appeal. The judges appreciated the high level of talent, effort, and imagination displayed by the participants.
The programme concluded with the announcement of winners and an appreciation note for all participants. The Arts Club expressed heartfelt gratitude to the college administration, faculty members, and students for their valuable support in making the competition a successful and enriching event.
The Art Competition effectively achieved its objective of nurturing artistic talents and fostering a creative environment within the campus.
