The Nature Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Nature Photography Activity on 6th February 2025 at 12:00 PM with the aim of encouraging students to appreciate the beauty of the natural environment and to capture unique elements of nature through the lens of a camera.
The programme began with an introductory session highlighting the importance of nature photography in promoting environmental awareness and helping individuals observe the world more closely. Students were guided on basic photography skills, including composition, lighting, angles, and framing.
Participants explored the college campus and nearby natural areas to photograph various elements of nature, such as:

Flowers and plants

Landscapes and natural patterns

Water bodies and reflections

Textures, colours, and small details of the ecosystem
The activity encouraged students to develop patience, observation skills, and artistic expression. Many were able to capture unique moments that showcased the diversity and beauty of the environment.
