CONDUCTED BY THE DISCIPLINE CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE

The Discipline Club of MCCTE, Mahe conducted a Behavioural Challenges Activity on 11 February 2025 at 10:00 AM in the college campus. The programme aimed to create awareness among student teachers about common behavioural issues observed in school settings and to equip them with practical strategies to handle such challenges effectively.

The session began with an introduction by the club coordinators, who emphasized the importance of understanding students’ behavioural patterns for maintaining a healthy learning environment. Participants were engaged in various interactive activities, case discussions, and scenario-based tasks that highlighted issues such as attention difficulties, classroom disruptions, peer conflicts, and emotional outbursts.

Student teachers actively participated in the activities, sharing their observations and suggesting solutions based on real-life situations. The programme helped them develop skills such as empathy, patience, conflict resolution, and effective classroom communication.

The activity concluded with a reflective discussion, where participants expressed that the session enhanced their awareness and confidence in addressing behavioural challenges in classrooms. The Discipline Club extended gratitude to the faculty members and all participants for their cooperation in making the programme meaningful and impactful.

The Behavioural Challenges Activity successfully fulfilled its objective of preparing future teachers to manage diverse behavioural situations with understanding and professionalism.
