POSTER MAKING COMPETITION AGAINST DRUGS

The De-Addiction Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Poster Making Competition Against Drugs on 5th February 2025 at 12:45 PM as part of its initiatives to promote awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage students to express their anti-drug messages creatively.
The programme began with a welcome address and an introduction to the objectives of the competition. Students were encouraged to use art as a medium for social awareness and to convey strong messages advocating a drug-free lifestyle.
Participants created posters based on themes such as:

The posters showcased high levels of creativity, artistic skill, and meaningful expression. Students used vibrant colours, powerful symbols, and thought-provoking slogans to highlight the dangers of addiction and promote healthy living.

The Poster Making Competition Against Drugs was a successful and impactful initiative, reinforcing the De-Addiction Club’s mission to promote a drug-free campus and encourage students to take an active role in social awareness campaigns.
