FILM QUIZ CONDUCTED BY FILM CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Film Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Film Quiz Competition on 17 February 2025 at 9:30 AM in the college campus. The event was conducted with the aim of enhancing students’ knowledge of cinema, promoting interest in film culture, and encouraging healthy competition among student-teachers.
The programme commenced with a brief welcome and introduction by the club coordinators, who highlighted the importance of understanding films not only as entertainment but also as an art form rich with cultural, historical, and social significance.
Participants competed enthusiastically through multiple rounds that included questions on film history, directors, actors, famous scenes, soundtracks, and contemporary cinema. The quiz created an engaging and lively atmosphere as teams attempted challenging questions that tested both their memory and analytical skills.
Faculty members and students actively supported the event, and the quiz concluded with the announcement of the winning team. The session successfully fostered teamwork, quick thinking, and appreciation of cinematic knowledge.
Overall, the Film Quiz Competition was an informative and enjoyable experience, contributing meaningfully to the co-curricular activities of the college.
