CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Cooperative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in collaboration with JNGHSS, Mahe, organized a Career Guidance Programme on 11 September 2025 at 2:00 PM.

The primary aim of the programme was to provide students with proper direction, awareness, and motivation to make informed decisions regarding their academic and professional futures. The session emphasized understanding individual strengths, exploring diverse career opportunities, and setting clear future goals.

The programme was coordinated by Mr. Vyas Jagadeesh, a 2nd Year English student-teacher of MCCTE, who effectively guided the students through various aspects of career selection, higher education possibilities, and emerging job trends. The session included interactive discussions, real-life examples, and practical tips for academic planning.

The event was conducted under the leadership of:

• Ms. Revathi M, Assistant Professor, MCCTE – IQAC Coordinator

• Ms. Sugathakumari, Headmistress, JNGHSS – Programme Coordinator

Students participated actively, sharing doubts and seeking advice regarding their career aspirations. The coordinator addressed their queries and encouraged them to focus on their skills, interests, and long-term goals.

The session concluded with positive feedback from participants, who expressed that the programme helped them gain clarity and confidence about future opportunities. The Career Guidance Programme successfully fulfilled its objective of empowering students to “create the future they want.”
