SCHOOL BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAMME

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mahe Cooperative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, in association with JNGHSS, Mahe, organized a School Beautification Programme on 18 September 2025 at 4:00 PM.

The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and aesthetic enhancement among students. It also sought to provide hands-on experience in maintaining a green and healthy school environment.

The programme was coordinated by Mr. Vyas Jagadeesh and Ms. Diya Sudhakaran, both 2nd Year English student-teachers of MCCTE, who actively led the beautification activities. The tasks included cleaning the school premises, planting saplings, removing unwanted weeds, and arranging garden spaces to improve the overall ambience of the school campus.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and support of:

Ms. Sugathakumari, Headmistress, JNGHSS – Programme Coordinator

Student-teachers from MCCTE and the students of JNGHSS participated enthusiastically, contributing to the successful execution of the activities. The collaborative effort fostered teamwork, social responsibility, and environmental consciousness among the participants.

The programme concluded with a brief interaction session, where the coordinators appreciated the efforts of all participants and encouraged them to continue such eco-friendly practices.

Overall, the School Beautification Programme was highly productive and helped enrich the school environment while cultivating a sense of responsibility among students.
