The MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE), Mahe, continuing its series of impactful initiatives, organized an Energy Conservation Awareness Programme on September 17, 2025, in collaboration with MUMVHSS Vadakara. This vital event, spearheaded by MCCTE's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), took place at 10:00 AM and focused on promoting sustainable practices and educating attendees on the critical importance of reducing energy consumption. The programme was skillfully led by the resource person, Saniya Suresh Babu, a 2nd year B.Ed student from MCCTE, whose expertise demonstrated the institution’s success in cultivating environmentally conscious future educators. Saniya provided practical insights and actionable strategies for conserving energy both in school environments and personal lives. The entire successful collaboration was overseen by the dedicated coordination team: Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) served as the General Coordinator, Ms. Revathy M (Ass. Prof, MCCTE) was the IQAC Coordinator, and Mr. Farook (MUMVHSS, Vadakara) managed the local logistics as the Programme Coordinator. This initiative successfully fulfilled its aim of fostering greater environmental responsibility among the participants and the wider community
