 First Aid Awareness Programme

The MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with Government Middle School, Mahe, organised a First Aid Awareness Programme under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The session was held on September 12, 2025, at 03:30 p.m. in the premises of Government Middle School, Mahe.

The resource person for the programme was Ms.Anjana. O. K, a Second-year B.Ed. student of MCCTE. She conducted an engaging and informative session on the importance of first aid and the basic procedures to be followed during medical emergencies such as cuts, burns, fainting, and fractures.

The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about first aid measures and to equip them with the knowledge to handle minor injuries and emergencies effectively. The session emphasized the importance of remaining calm during accidents and taking immediate, appropriate actions to save lives before professional medical help arrives.

The programme was coordinated under the guidance of:

The event proved to be highly beneficial for the students, helping them understand the significance of timely medical assistance. It also encouraged them to act responsibly and confidently during emergencies.

The programme successfully achieved its aim of spreading awareness and promoting a culture of safety and care among students.
