The IQAC of Mahe Cooperative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, in association with I. K. Kumaran Government Higher Secondary School, Mahe, organized a Career Guidance Class for High School Students. The session was held under the initiative of the college’s IQAC to provide students with valuable insights into various academic and career opportunities available after school education.
The session was led by Ms. Ann MaryJos, a 2nd-year BEd English student, who served as the Resource Person. She shared her experiences and offered guidance on selecting suitable career paths based on students’ interests, skills, and strengths. The talk also focused on the importance of goal setting, time management, and developing communication skills to achieve future success.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal, MCCTE) as the General Coordinator and IQAC Coordinator. The active participation of the students made the session highly interactive and engaging. They raised thoughtful questions and expressed their curiosity about various professional fields and higher education options.
The session proved to be informative, motivational, and inspiring, helping students to gain clarity about their future choices and encouraging them to pursue their ambitions with confidence and determination.
