The Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education (MCCTE),
Mahe, organized a critical Electric Shock Awareness Programme on
September 11, 2025, at 3:30 pm. The event, a collaborative effort
between the college's IQAC and KRHSS Purameri, was held to educate
participants on the risks associated with electricity and impart essential
knowledge on prevention, safety procedures, and initial response
protocols in the event of an electric shock. The programme was led by
Ms. Krishna Theertha B R , who served as the Resource Person,
providing vital information to enhance electrical safety consciousness
among the attendees. The initiative also included an important message promoting the conservation of electricity to "preserve the earth for
future generations."
The programme's execution was guided by a dedicated team of
coordinators from both institutions. Dr. Sreelatha K (Principal,
MCCTE) served as the General Coordinator, overseeing the entire
event. The responsibilities of the IQAC Coordinator were managed by
Ms. Revathi M (Asst. Prof., MCCTE). The on-site logistics and inter-
institutional coordination were handled by Ms. Shyny K (Head Master,
KRHSS) in her role as the Programme Coordinator, ensuring that this
crucial safety awareness session was conducted smoothly and
effectively.
