VISHU PROGRAMME CONDUCTED BY EVENT MANAGEMENT CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Event Management Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a vibrant and culturally rich Vishu Programme on 10 April 2025 at 11:15 AM in the college campus. The celebration aimed to promote cultural awareness, foster community spirit, and provide students with an opportunity to experience the traditional significance of Vishu.
The programme began with a welcome address by the club coordinators, who highlighted the importance of Vishu as a festival symbolizing prosperity, positivity, and new beginnings. The event featured various traditional elements that reflected the cultural heritage associated with the festival.
A beautifully arranged Vishukkani display was prepared by the students, showcasing items like konna flowers, fruits, mirrors, and traditional lamps. Participants also took part in cultural activities that included songs, short performances, and sharing the meaning and customs related to Vishu. The atmosphere was festive, warm, and inclusive, bringing together students, faculty members, and staff.
The coordinators appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged them to continue engaging in cultural celebrations that strengthen unity and cultural knowledge. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasadam, adding to the joy of the occasion.
Overall, the Vishu Programme was a delightful and meaningful celebration that enriched the cultural environment of MCCTE, Mahe and fostered a sense of togetherness among the college community.
