COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY THE DISCIPLINE CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE

The Discipline Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized Community Service Activities on 4 April 2025 at 12:00 PM in and around the college campus. The programme was conducted with the objective of fostering social responsibility, civic sense, and compassionate engagement among student teachers.

The event began with an orientation session led by the club coordinators, who highlighted the relevance of community service in teacher education. Students were divided into groups and assigned various service activities such as campus cleaning, assisting local community members, distributing awareness leaflets, and helping maintain cleanliness in surrounding public spaces.

Participants actively engaged in the tasks, demonstrating teamwork, responsibility, and a positive attitude towards community welfare. The activities also provided students with practical exposure to the values of discipline, cooperation, and social commitment.

The programme concluded with a reflection session in which participants shared their experiences and the insights gained from contributing to the community. The Discipline Club extended gratitude to the college authorities for their support and to all students who contributed to making the initiative meaningful and impactful.

The Community Service Activities successfully achieved their objective of sensitizing students to the importance of disciplined social service and community engagement.
