GROUP DISCUSSION CONDUCTED BY FILM CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE
The Film Club of MCCTE, Mahe organized a Group Discussion on 3 April 2025 at 10:30 AM in the college campus. The session was conducted with the objective of enhancing critical thinking, communication skills, and collaborative learning among student-teachers.
The programme began with an introduction by the club coordinators, who explained the purpose of the activity and highlighted the importance of group discussions in developing analytical abilities and confidence. Participants were divided into groups and provided with film-related themes and topics for discussion.
Students actively contributed their thoughts and interpretations, examining various aspects of cinema such as themes, character portrayals, social messages, and technical elements. The discussions were lively and insightful, encouraging participants to listen, respond thoughtfully, and build on each other’s ideas.
Faculty members observed the discussions and offered constructive feedback on communication style, clarity, teamwork, and content relevance. The activity helped students refine their perspectives, improve articulation, and engage in meaningful academic dialogue.
