The Zumba Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe organized an energetic Anti-Drug Zumba Flashmob on 23rd April 2025 at 4:00 PM as part of its initiative to spread awareness on the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, active lifestyle among students.

The flashmob began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of drug-free living and the role of youth in promoting a safe and healthy society. The performance aimed to convey the message that fitness, dance, and positive habits can serve as powerful alternatives to harmful addictions.

The Zumba team performed a vibrant and well-coordinated flashmob routine at the campus, drawing the attention of students and staff. The energetic choreography, lively music, and synchronised movements effectively captured the audience’s interest and successfully conveyed the anti-drug message in an engaging manner.

Students gathered around the venue, cheering and supporting the performers. The flashmob created a lively and motivating atmosphere, encouraging the audience to adopt healthy lifestyle choices and stay away from drugs.

The programme concluded with a short awareness message reinforcing the significance of drug-free living and urging everyone to participate in creating a responsible and supportive community.
