THEME-BASED DANCE PERFORMANCE

The Dance Club of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe, organised a Theme-Based Dance Performance on 3 April 2025 at 2:30 PM. The event aimed to promote creative expression and convey meaningful messages through dance, while providing student teachers with an opportunity to blend artistry with purposeful storytelling.
The programme began with a welcome address by the club coordinator, who highlighted the role of thematic performances in nurturing creativity, emotional expression, and stage confidence. Students presented dances based on themes such as empowerment, nature, unity, cultural heritage, and social issues.
Each performance reflected thoughtful choreography, expressive movements, appropriate costumes, and a strong connection to the chosen theme. The audience appreciated the meaningful presentations and the artistic efforts of the dancers.
Faculty members commended the participants for their discipline, creativity, and ability to communicate powerful messages through dance. The event created an inspiring and vibrant atmosphere on campus.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, faculty members, coordinators, and students for making the event a memorable success.
