 FINE ARTS FESTIVAL

CONDUCTED BY THE ARTS CLUB OF MCCTE MAHE

The Arts Club of MCCTE, Mahe successfully organized a Three-Day Fine Arts Festival on 22, 23, and 24 April 2025, commencing each day at 10:00 AM. The festival was designed to promote artistic talent, cultural expression, and creativity among the student teachers, offering them a vibrant platform to present their skills.

The inaugural session began with a welcome address by the Arts Club coordinators, who highlighted the importance of fine arts in holistic education. The festival featured a wide range of events, including painting, pencil sketching, poster design, craft making, clay modelling, calligraphy, collage, and various performing arts activities. Each event encouraged participants to explore their imagination and showcase their creative abilities.

Over the three days, students actively participated with great enthusiasm. The competition venues were filled with artistic energy as participants worked on diverse themes, blending innovation with technical skill. Judges evaluated each entry based on creativity, originality, execution, and thematic clarity. The high level of talent displayed by the students was widely appreciated.

Visitors, faculty members, and fellow students attended the festival, offering strong support and encouragement. Interactive displays and live demonstrations added attraction to the event, making the festival lively and engaging.

The Fine Arts Festival concluded with a valedictory session, during which winners were announced and certificates were distributed. The coordinators expressed gratitude to the college administration, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students for their cooperation and dedication in making the festival a grand success.

The three-day Fine Arts Festival achieved its objective of fostering creativity and providing an enriching platform for student teachers to express their artistic potential.
