VIOLIN DAY VIDEO PRESENTATION

The Music Club of MAHE Co-operative College of Teacher Education, Mahe conducted a Violin Day Video Presentation on 13th December 2024 at 2:30 AM to celebrate the beauty, history, and musical significance of the violin. The programme aimed to introduce students to the evolution of the instrument, its role in various musical traditions, and the contributions of legendary violinists.
The session began with a brief introduction to Violin Day and the importance of appreciating classical instruments that have shaped musical culture across centuries. A specially curated video was presented, showcasing notable performances, the structure and mechanics of the violin, and the diverse playing techniques used in both Indian and Western classical music.
Students attentively watched the presentation, gaining insights into the craftsmanship of the instrument, the emotional depth it conveys, and its versatility across genres.
