The Women's Cell of Mahe Co-operative College of Teacher Education conducted a ramp walk competition to select Mr. MCCTE as part of Men's Day celebrations on November 19, 2024, at 3.30 pm. This was the second program organized by the Women's Cell after its inauguration. We had a great plan for this program. The members of the Women's Cell gathered together to create sashes for the participants using chart paper and also made a crown for the title of Mr. MCCTE
The judges for the program were Women's Cell Coordinator Nyji Narayan, Dr. Anjali Rajeevan, and Assistant Professor Rahidha Rajan. The program was a huge success from the start. Fourteen boys participated in the competition, and each participant was excited to take part and be crowned Mr. MCCTE 2024. The students and teachers encouraged the participants, who were allotted chess numbers and got ready for the event.
The anchoring was done by Women's Cell Secretary Neha Fathima, who invited the judges, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students to the program. The participants walked the ramp one by one, showcasing their unique styles. One of the participants, Vyus Jagadeesh, presented a variety of ideas through his costume, giving an executive look. Another highlight was Sangeerth's creative ramp walk, which included a hanging stunt. Abhinraj walked with bold attitude, while Anurag charmed the audience with his cute smile. Everyone made an impressive entry and walked the ramp amazingly, finally gathering together on stage.
The judges had certain criteria for selecting the winners, including their style of walking. attitude, and creativity in presenting their ideas. The participants were also asked some questions, based on these criteria, the judges wisely chose the winners. During the program, the Women's Cell provided fruit juice to the participants, which helped them relax and enjoy the event.
