CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION

 


Likha 2024-25 Mahe Co-operative College Of Teachers Education's Union hosted a Children's Day celebration for the school students of Mahe region on 26th Nov. 2024. To enrich student's skills, various competitions on arts and sports were organised at the college campus. A spectacular platform was arranged by the Union forming and dividing committees to better use.

  [10/06, 14:13] Snigdha MCCTE: We flagged the event by opening the reception committee at 12.30 PM. The students and teachers from different schools started arriving and they were given chest numbers according to their participation items. We began the arts, the water colouring, letter writing and patriotic song at 1.45 PM along with it we conducted the sports at the college ground that is skipping, lemon spoon, shuttle run, musical chair and tug of war systematically that's designed by the union and the teachers. The parents and the teachers accompanied then and enjoyed every event that was going on. We felt the students were more energetic and enthusiastic than ever and everyone present enjoyed it. We also provided refreshments and aids for the one in need.

We could see the excitement in the eyes of students and the one accompanied. Around 4.00 PM, after the fierce tug of war ended the awarding ceremony began. The chief guests Sri Sajith Narayanan sir (The President Of MCCTI, Sri M Ashalatha Mam (Board Member of MCCTI) along with Dr.Sreelatha Mam (The Principal of MCCTE) awarded the winners and the participants, as the score board was already displayed. The overall champions Government Middle School Mahe was awarded the trophy and prize money of Rs 1000 And the runners up were awarded a trophy and the cash prize of 500 to Alley English Medium School And Excel Public school, every student who participated received a participant certificate and medals to their winning items.
